Spotted in Nature
My artwork has always been heavily inspired by Impressionist and Art Nouveau artists like Monet and Klimt. Some of the first artists to inspire me have works in Newfields, previously the Indianapolis Museum of Art, which I visited frequently with my dad throughout my childhood. My style combines the intricate brushwork affiliated with impressionism with the boldness and eclecticism of Art Nouveau.
This collection, "Spotted in Nature," is the first composition of works I've created under a unified theme. Spots, dots, and polka dots are ubiquitous in nature and fashion alike, and these works play with a combination of the two.
Crafted with Care
All works are single originals, painted on thick, premium mixed media paper using a combination of acrylic paint, ink, glitter, and 3D gems. Each piece comes initialed on the front and dated on the back.
